721 Not Responding ?

Hi Guys,
About every 2 or 3 weeks my remote stops responding on the first button push...
An I have been doing a Card Pull and this seems to clear it up but then 2 or 3 weeks later it all starts up again...
Is it a good idea to keep doing this can I screw something up by doing this?

Chuck, sounds like you did not read the manual....

If you look at page 113, you will see this is a special "loneliness" feature.

It says if you want to avoid the lockups you should hug and kiss your 721 each night before going to bed...

(Ahh what the hell it's close enough.... APRIL FOOLS) :lol:

I wish I had an answer why your unit is doing that, I would recommend that instead of pulling out the smartcard to press and hold the power button on the front of the 721 until it reboots, this will save ware and tare on the smart card contacts.

Your right I did skip that page:lol:
But the sad thing is I do H & K my 721 every night before I go to bed I LUV THIS BOX:D
And NO H & K doesn't stand for HIT & KICK!!! But then ... No I can't do it:D
