Dumb question - but still need a answer please...

I know the answer is most likely something simple and I already feel pretty stupid asking it.....none the less still need an answer.

Is there a way using the remote to type in a channel such as 705-1, 706-1 etc...and go there directly.

Use the Dash button at the bottom left of the key pad.
