HOW TO CHANGE THE VIDEO OUT TO 480P

"I was almost at the point of returning this until I read the other reviews. I even went to Circuit City to ask how to change the video output to 480P.The persons I asked didn't know."

After reading the reviews that I could get to 480P through the 'Display' button. I tried it and this DVD is awesome. The reviews didn't show in detail how to do it. So I'm writing the procedure the best way I can.

HOW TO DO IT:

PRESS 'DISPLAY' ONCE

ONCE YOU SEE A DISPLAY COME UP WITH SUBTITLE BELOW IT PRESS THE DOWN ARROW RIGHT AWAY TO GET TO THE 'PICTURE MENU'

ONCE THE 'PICTURE MENU' TITLE COMES UP PRESS THE RIGHT ARROW
TILL YOU GET TO 480I.

PRESS THE DOWN ARROW TO CHOOSE 480P

PRESS THE 'DISPLAY' BUTTON TO GET OUT.

PANASONIC SHOULD EXPLAIN THIS BETTER IN THEIR MANUAL."

Just bought one at CC tonight - $99.99 + tax. Strange that for a P/Scan model with S-video, component and optical audio-out, it came with only RCA composite/audio cables. But for the price, who's complaining? :)
