ALL St. Louis locals now on 119

Just checked with a friend that has ONLY a D300 at 119 w/St.Louis locals. Local channels WRBU-46 (now UPN, was HSN prior to 4/1 as WHSL) & KNLC-24 (religious) have been moved to 119, with the rest of the St.Louis locals.

Guess NO more free 61.5 dishes for St.Louis customers. (at least for locals anyway)

I think your friend is mistaken. I have Dish 500 and I'm still getting a message screen on those channels telling me I need a second dish to receive them.

Dish is moving things around, so I don't know if the situation will change anytime soon or not.

St.Louis 61.5's locals are still at 61.5 where they always are..

What is at 119 sat - are just slates without actual TV.

DAMM - I'm so sorry guys!!!

I guess this falls under the heading of "if you want to find out something RIGHT, you find out for YOURSELF"!!!

He just now told me he did NOT actually select the 2 channels, he just saw them in the guide. (duh, I explained to him - they have ALWAYS been there) But he still SWEARS he saw "Buffy" on Tuesday night, which I assume would have had to be on the UPN channel.

Next time, I'll wait to SEE it for myself b4 posting... :( :( :blush: :blush: (or at least ask more questions)
