Red Sox vs. Yankees... Game 2

The first game between NY and Boston is going to shown on 729-1 at 1:30, but I don't see the second game listed. It's not listed on the online schedule, in fact for some odd reason the online guide won't go higher than channel 699!

There are no more ESPN Sunday night games so it is a game that SHOULD be made available to MLB-EI subscribers. It's the last game of the MLB-EI season.


C'mon DirecTV make sure we get to see the game, OK?

It doesn't mean anything, and it may get rained out. But that is not the point. I couldnt care less about this game, but as a fan of baseball I am absolutely fed up with this MLB blackout BS! Take yesterday for example. Isn't this the peak of the baseball season? We almost got stuck with the sox-yanks game yesterday?! There are crucial games on the schedule, and we still have to deal with this black out nonsense. At this point it is pretty clear MLB couldn't give a s*&t about its true fans. :mad:

mlb.tv only unless directv forgets to black the game out. I don't believe they will added to mlb ei. Red sox being stubern because of it being a sellout yesterday and don't want to return money or other tickets to these fans.

Yes, the out of market fans that watch on TV are the key to baseball's profits (come on!). Hey, I understand the frustration...have lived it myself, but Fox pays a lot of money for exclusivity...they're the only ones that could release MLB from the obligation. ESPN did just that a couple years back.

It's a makeup double-header.

My guess is, since both games are on YES, they will both be on MLB-EI. They just won't make it to the guide in time.

The 2nd game of the day/night double header is scheduled for 7:30 PM ET, but I have no other information about it other than YES 622 will show it in the NYC market.

728 and 729 will have the game. yes hd and nesn hd are caring the game and will be in MLB EI.

As of 7:30, YES is blacked out, but NESN is up.
