In the new roadmap, Mozilla.org will move away from the XPFE-based Navigator to Phoenix and its XUL interface. If any of you are using Mozilla you know it ain't as fast as it once was. I applaud Mozilla for realizing that the 1.0 -> 1.4 tree has gone as far as it could go and will now focus on the Phoenix (which will be getting a new name) browser.

For those who want to see why Phoenix is so much faster and better, you can download the latest builds from here. Just expand the zip file to your disk and run the "Phoenix.exe" file. No installation is required. :welcome:

Yep... It looks just like Mozilla except its way faster. No bloat!

Does it display the text correctly here today? ;)

DL'n it now. Tabbed browsing is the only way to go.

Well it is just as fast as Opera and seems to handle the pages better too. Opera has issues with various things on the page like lines above and below quotes and animated gifs here.

Now I just have to figure out how hard it is to move some bookmarks.

Well do be aware it is version 0.5 so that would be a Beta. ;)

I love it though...
