According to the BBC most of the power is out. The US says it did not target them. I guess the Iraqis destroyed them - which is very stupid. Lots of contracts to restore them after the war I guess.

Maybe the Iraqis think that they would have the advantage in the darkened city since they know the streets of Baghdad and the US troops don't. :shrug:

That was pretty stupid of them considering our guys have night vision and they don't. They probably did us a favor.
