NBA? That's like having a free dumpster cam channel preview.

Well Starz had a free showing around October 13th.(free week maybe, I have a PVR from from that time) I don't recall anything since then.

I'm still enjoying a free showtime feed. I had it start in December. In Feb I bought a 6000. When the 6000 was activated SHOWTIME (including SHO-HD) was not running on the 6000 (it was on the 4900). I called them and they activated SHO on the 6000.

When the trial expired in March, SHO dropped off on the 4900, but it is still running on the 6000. I guess I have an extended SHO preview period.

Everytime I change something on my account, I always have to call back and ask them to change it on my 6000 as well, because it never takes effect on that machine for some reason.

I think there will be something this summer. I remember when they had their top 150 free preview, that was pretty nice while it lasted.

WOW, I have to totally disagree.
The NBA League Pass Free Preview was the best free preview in Dish's history in my opinion.
The NBA League Pass channels also had among the best bitrates ever seen Dish Network standard def channels in years.
NBA TV isn't as good as the League Pass channels, but it's was still a good free preview in my opinion.
There are also a whole bunch of international free previews on the side sats all the time.
They also talk about some kind of soccer free preview this weekend, but I'm not sure what that is all about since I'm not a big soccer fan.
