So, the installer is up there comes back, hooks everything up and doesnt have signal at all....all zero's.....what to do>>>...he put up a slimline dish with the new SL3 lnb and nothing, no signal

Did he get any signal from 101w with his meter while putting up the dish?

Make him put up the SL5 LNB .

we are all set now...Thats exactly what i told him, put the 5lnb in first get signal and then change the lnb....we actually have better signal now with the sl3 then the 5lnb...

I think th OP panicked, the installer was in house and he needed help now:)

My mistake for making a new thread on this, but as Davring said, i kinda panicked and freaked out a little....everything is all set now....

I am, the pq is awesome....very happy so far.
lets hope the wife likes it :)
I actually did get 2 HR22's and the only thing i have to say is that the menu system is not very responsive....or just slow....not a big deal though,...im sure that will change in future updates

The machines will speed up after they are done downloading all the guide data, give them 24 hours or so.
