Another rate hike or agreement ended?

Just opened my DTV bill. I see they raised my bill another $4.03! It hasn't eeven been a year since the last hike in rates. Or did some agreement that I had run out?

There have been no announced rate hikes... something must have run out. If there had been a rate hike it would be all over this place.

You could compare to your last bill and see what's different.

One thing I know is that several laws in my area went into effect on October 1st. It could be if your state/locality passed some kind of satellite tax that took effect then, that may be showing up now.

Don't be surprised if your state has passed a "Satellite Privilege Tax" and is now applying it toward your monthly bill.
Speaking for us,our bill jumped up another $6-$7 per month,courtesy of this "tax".

As said, probably a tax or freebie expiring.
