at Solid signal, it appears to include the power inserter. Anyone else receive this?

Had one in my inbox this morning. I already bought one from another source, but great to see the price dropping!

Can you provide a link? I see they have an open box SWM 8 for $99, but it does not have the PI included. They do have a package SWM 8 and PI for $139.

I think they must be special links as someone else was reporting they got emailed a promo for a HR21 @ $169 and on their site it is still $199.

wifes going to kill me, guess what I just ordered :)
thing is, I don't need it right now (will be a month or so) but could not take the chance of a price/availability hike.

I bought mine a couple of months ago for $139, still haven't installed it yet......, but it is there when I want to install it. Have to budget everything and get all materials before installing.

David, you did get it for $99....., right. Use the promo code. I got an email from this forum earlier where you said it was $139.

I have enough ports (parallel WB68’s) and enough wire (3x RG6 to each room), but I had been thinking about getting one just to get rid of those darned BBC’s. This was just the thing to get me to pull the trigger!

And David – great avatar! That cat almost doesn’t look real!

I don't know who took that, it was a picture of a crazy cat sent to me in an email that was floating around. I thought it was so funny I had to use it. the cat wants his MRV :)

Hmm, wonder if they have a guaranteed price protection policy. I bought mine from them 2 weeks ago :)

Yes, you will need either the 2, 4, or 8 output splitter.

Does anyone know if this will solve the 771 error on tuner 2? Has anyone with a SWM experienced the 771 error on tuner 2?

Yes, you will need either the 2, 4, or 8 output splitter.

I don't suppose a wb616 would act like the sws-8 switch would it?
probably a pipe dream :)

If you ordered it within the past 10 days, you can get a refund! Worked for me!!! Give em a call!

no, I've had the 616 longer than that and plan on keeping it. did not get it from them anyway.
