You might want to be a bit more specific as far as which offer you're talking about. The only one I see on the front page expires 10/31.

I believe the $18 off per month deal ends tomorrow. That deal you pay $99 for your hd-dvr, while the NFL ST deal comes with the HD-DVR and that is good until the end of the month.

Maybe there are 2 directv websites, ok back to school, I will explain my website.
When you go to directv. com you will see Bruce Willis inside a tv, and inside a red square says best offer of the year expires in 2 days, and when you check every package offer detail says expires on 10/7/08. I hope I was specific enough, now can you tell me where do you see at the homepage 10/31/08?????

Not what mine looks like at www.directv.com. I see an ad for Friday Night Lights (has a date of premiere of October 1st, just for the purists out there), another one for Sunday Ticket ( no date), more HD channes (no date), NFL remotes (no date), HBO and Showtime offer (10/31/08), HotPass (no date), and an ad for DVR's (no date).

So apparently there are different home pages, or you're not talking about the home page at http://www.directv.com.

Are offers like these available to new customers or existing customers? What if I've already got the package they are offering the deal on, can it still get the better rate?

Well maybe I know the answer. I clicked on several of the offter buttons and it asks for a zip code where I want DTV installed. Looks like it's for new customers only.
