My RCA receivers are still on standard time. I check my systems options and it's set for daylight savings & east coast. I called DTV and they told me to reset my receiver which I did and stll no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? Also, does anyone know how to fix this problem?

My Sony HD 200 had no problems with the time change.

Wonder how long we have to wait for a software update to be downloaded.....:D

DTV (on phone) says that they are aware of the problem, and that a download is on the way. Gotta love Thompson Electronics: RCA has a knack for making consistently mediocre products.

Ah well, at least the Guide is correct -- it's an hour off, but it's correct.

Watch I bet the software download arrives just in time to set the clocks BACK....:D

I have three RCA receivers - two UTV and one DRD 420 receiver. I had to manually reset the clock and set to my time zone again on the UTV's and they worked fine, the 420 reset itself some time during the day and is now showing the correct time. Is everyone still having problems and I'm just lucky, or is it fixed for everyone?

If you have a DirecTv PVR you have to wait on them to set the time correct to get correct playback of the shows? This is worse than Dish Network having their PVR timers being off and having to reset them if you have to set them an hour off just to have them readjust the time to be off again.

I had the same problem last night and STILL this AM with my Hughes E86 High Def STB. A few folks over at avsforums.com have commented on the same thing with the Mitsu HD box as well (Hughes Clone---along with teh Toshiba I believe)

My wife just called me to tell me that the Hughes GAEBOA we have just started showing it was an hour behind. WTF?

D* Programming Guide issue? I usually don't call them on these matters because the "cue card" answer to "unplug your box"....usually just sets me off :D

No. Everything on my UTV's is off by one hour, so for example the clock says 8:31 a.m. when it is actually 9:31 a.m., and the timers are all off by one hour as well, so "The Practice" that is supposed to be on at 8:00 p.m. this evening, actually shows in guide at 7:00 p.m., but because the clock is also off an hour, it will still record fine. This is because of name-based, rather than time-based recording. This is the first time, though, that I've had problems at DST changes.

I was watching some movie late last night as the remaining hours of the free Premier waned...

...and the movie info on the display screen said the movie was 3 1/2 hours. I knew that couldn't be true (this was around midnight)...then I remembered it was time to change the clox back!

My reciever is an older Hughes model (circa 1998-1999), and it was even "previewing" the time change.

Ok my RCA receivers are showing standard time and now my Sony HD-200 is showing standard time. WTH! Yesterday it worked fine and now today the guide time is a hour behind!

Oh well, wish me luck I'm going to call tech support:bang

I can now report that all four of my receivers are on DST. All seems to be well.

I have the Rca DRD43ORG what you have to do is un-plug Rca for about 5 to 10 minutes...let the box re-fresh itself...plug it in again let the data download....run switch test (provided you have the mulisat dish)...within 2 minutes the clock should be correct.
