Hi folks,
Does anyone know of a way to toggle between the two different guide formats. The one with the picture vs. the one without the picture. I am looking for a way to do it quickly through the remote and not by going and configuring it through setup.
Also, I am a new 508 user so I would welcome any new or hidden features that people have stumbled across.
Cheers!

There is no way of toggling between the pip guide and the full guide formats without going through the setup in the menu.
You can flip through the guide by a number of hours though. For example you press 8 then the skip ahead button you go forward 8 hours in the guide, or 30 skip ahead you go forward 30 hours. It also does this on the 501 and 721 receivers. Visit my website for more features that you can do and other features people are wanting on the receiver.

See the PVR501/508 User Guide Supplement (http://ekb.dbstalk.com/291) on the EKB (http://ekb.dbstalk.com).

Bobabird, this is the first time I went to the EKB 50X page in a while, but the bookmark links don't appear to be working.

Hmm, that's odd. They work fine on the original Swiki version (http://echostar.swiki.net/291) of the page. Something must not have been translated from Swiki coding to HTML when it was copied to DBSTalk. TNGTony can you take a look?

Another nice feature - just press the skip button in the guide, and it skips ahead 24 hours. Very nice when scheduling recordings.

I thought I had made an error but was not sure when I ahd postd that and I see that I have. When you press the skip ahead button each time it will take you forward or back 24 hours in the guide. When you press a number then forward (browse) or back (theme) then it will take you forward or back in the guide that amount of hours. You cannot go back further than the current time in the guide.
