CSFB to provide $2.75 bln in financing to EchoStar

For those of you who may not know, last week, Charlie pledged his PERSONAL fortune as collateral
to secure the merger agreement. This cinched the deal but put him at tremendous risk of losing everything. This was a very gutsy move and he was warned not to do it by his personal financial advisors. This CSFB loan now gets his personal stock back in his name.

No matter what you think of Charlie, one has to admire his vision and confidence in doing whatever it takes .
