Baghdad Bob - Iraqi Information Minister

A reporter was saying this morning, the Iraqi Information Minister (black beret, giving briefings) has been dubbed “Baghdad Bob” by the folks at the Pentagon.
 
I was relating to my wife this hilarious image I have. This guy will be standing there denying the existence of any US troops in the city, right up until the point where a Ranger, Navy Seal or Marine Corps Force Recon member walks up and taps him on the shoulder during one of his briefings.

Now come on, if the information minister says there are no troops in Baghdad then there are no troops in Baghdad. Just because you see them in Baghdad on your TV screen doesn't mean that they are there. This could be David Copperfield's latest TV special.

Hey, I didn't watch SNL from the weekend. Did they do a skit where Horatio Sanz dressed up as an Iraqi insists that they kicked the Americans out? Followed shortly thereafter by the two finger devil sign creeping up behind his head as a couple of snickering Marines make fun of him.

It was really funny this morning because you could see smoke from buring things behind him that were obviously small and within the city. Iraqi tanks probably. Oh wait, it could have been the hundreds of American tanks they have destroyed. :lol:

I just remebered them saying that the park where they were getting ready to blow up a statue was only a quarter mile from the Palestine hotel and they were waiting for the press to show up. :lol: They should bring Bob along so he can watch too since I think he's been giving his TV apperances from the sidewalk near the hotel. ;)
