Shucks, and me and my popcorn were all set to watch the fireworks when they choked and burped at the change.
All kidding aside.... nice work E*. My 721 and 2 dishplayers sailed through the change without a hitch. Jeez, what are we gonna have to complain about now that we are all cranky from feeling like we got up an hour earlier this morning?

My brother called to tell me all his timers were off by 1:00 on his 508? He tends to leave his receiver on all the time, wonder if that could be a problem.
My 501 worked perfectly.

My 501 choked on one timer. For some reason, on Sunday, after DST had rolled over, I tried setting a timer for Monday evening and I got a conflict. I have Crossing Jordan setup for 10 PM and tried to set a recording for a show at 9 PM and got a conflict, it said that Crossing Jordan was coming on at 9 PM but on the EPG it said 10.

Upon initial inspection I too thought my DP's had finally gotten a time change right, but then missed recordings, other timers mysteriously disapeared all together. Even some timers that looked ok didn't record anything.
The same old dishplayer disaster!

Good point, perhaps when someone does leave their satellite receiver on, in which I know several people that do, it will cause their time to not update correctly. The thing is, wouldn't it change the hour just as it changes the minutes as it does when the receiver is on? This makes me think that the receiver would not have to be off for this change to take place and does not need a software update in order for this to happen.
I leave my 2 DPs on 24/7. No problems with time change or timers. :)

I saw that with 6 Feet Under, I saw that it said 8pm on Sunday, not 9PM. But when the time changed everything was correct. I think their methodology for changing time zone is a little "Quirky". Rule #20 for 50x, don't set timers for after time change (before time change) if there are alot of timers schedule near other timers, wait till after time change to avoid confusion. ;)
