Oct. 14, 1908, the Cubs defeat the Tigers 2-0 in Game 5 of the World Series and win the
championship for the second year in a row. It was the last time the Cubs would win
a WS title. It happened at 3:24 p.m Detroit time at the corner of Michigan and Trumbull.
Only 6,200 fans witnessed the Cubs victory, the smallest crowd in WS history.
Do you think the Cubs might go another century without a WS victory?

No it won't happen on Oct. 14 because by 2108 MLB will have six or seven rounds of playoffs and the WS won't get underway till Christmas.

They'll need to be wearing cross-country skis.
Or will they have jet propulsion backpacks by then?
