Has anyone done any sniffing on their HD DVR to see what is being transmitted and received for a 24 hour window on their HD DVR? If not I think I will.

I have seen a link where someone was doing this. If you search for it, you might find it, but I can't remember how long ago it was or what the title of the thread was.

All the posts I found in the searches brought up either CE threads or threads about it not working completely. I went through about 70 posts from those threads and couldn't find anything about the actually activity it was more setup issues or port forwarding issues.

What I'm basically trying to do here is create some scenarios where I can cause my HD DVR to lockup or fail due to network scenarios.
Scenarios I think can do this are going to be scenarios where it's doing a broadcast and the ip address changes due to lost connection (WAP) or router reset.
Programs that are scanning for media and detect the DVR then attempting to index or negotiate with it. Such as I-tunes, win amp, windows media client/server.
