While I don't claim to be all-knowing about what exactly our war with Iraq is all about, it does make me mad when I read what I suspect to be bold-faced lies.
This article here (http://english.aljazeera.net/topics/article.asp?cu_no=1&item_no=2162&version=1&template_id=277&parent_id=258) really teed me off. I highly doubt that U.S. forces would purposely/knowingly target an Al-Jazeera journalist.
The subject line could set off some angry feelings alone:
Dead Al Jazeera correspondent deliberately targeted
Puh-leeze.
And this paragraph is priceless:
“The Al-Jazeera team has no role in the war. We are only witnesses and are reporting objectively. This proves that the US is trying to cover the crimes it commits in its war on Iraq. Targeting witnesses is the biggest crime,” said Abdel-Hadi.
Spare me, please.
