The NFL confirmed yesterday that 25% of the tickets for the Feb. 1,2009 game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa,FL will carry a $1,000.00 face value.
The league also announced that they will cut ticket prices by $200.00 for 1,000 tickets,selling them for $500.00.

I got my SUperbowl tickets for 2 different years at many times more than face value anyway - extremely few of them are available at face value....
