It could happen when Rupert is in charge. He owns the National Rugby League in Australia so I dont see why it wouldnt happen, probably will.

I prefer watching the Union code, which is also heavily broadcast by Fox down under. Now is our chance to get New Zealand's Rugby Channel! Perhaps at least a better chance of Rugby World Cup coverage this fall, even if US regulatory clearance has not been made yet?
