DISH Offers Masters in HD

EchoStar's DISH Network will offer live early-round coverage of the 2003 Masters Golf Tournament in high definition TV. DISH customers with HD can watch the Masters today at 2 p.m. ET at no additional charge. To view the Masters in HD and future HD programming, DISH Network customers need a model 6000 satellite receiver with an enhanced HD adapter, which can be obtained from a DISH retailer or the company by calling 1-800-333-DISH.

I was hoping they would simply move the tournament a day ahead due to the four days of rain they have had and play the final round on Monday. Since many people would have to leave on Sunday night, a Monday final round would be more pleasurable . I guess that remains a possibility if things do not move fast enough today :shrug:

I will be there part of Sunday and definitely Monday should play continue. Maybe I should invent a DBSTALK umbrella and carry it by the TV cameras :)
