Not sure which forum to post this:
Yesterday afternoon I was viewing the new FoxHD 360 channel and it was breaking up so I checked my 99(c) signal strengths and they were in the 18-27 range. Prior to the 290 software update I was getting 55-60. I was getting these low number during a sunny, clear afternoon as well.
All my other strength numbers are in the 85-95 range. Then last night the picture was OK again and my numbers for 99(c) were back up in the 50 range.
I had my Slimline dish installed back in August 2007 before the DirecTV 11 (99c) sat was even in the sky. Do I need to have it fine tuned now? And do the signals usually go in at night? And would the software update have anything to do with it? Thanks.
BTW, I have a HR20-700 with OTA connections.
