View Full Version : SWM LNB
Does anyone know if the new SWM LNB will fit on the old AT-9 dish?
Nope, you need an AU9 (slimline) dish.

I'm gonna guess no since it's designed for the Slimline dish and the reflector is different between the two.

Just looking at a picture of the Sidecar and I dont think it will but I cant find the measurements on either LNB.
Hi all, I'm going to jump in, instead of starting a new thread.
I just pickup one of the new SWM 5 LNB (the head only) for my AU9-s (Model # SL5SPIG-WNC) and my question is, it also came with an 24" cable. Why would the new head have a cable with it? I can't figured it out, anyone care to take a guess?

for hooking to meter to aim with.
Really !?, I would think most of us have a jumper cable. Now that i think about it, my meter came with a cable! Thanks for the info (now I know I can take it off - they had it on their TIGHT!) Thanks again.

my au9s also came with a 2 foot cable attached, paperwork said for meter.
Its for a meter. Reason they do it is most have a patch, but not a patch that is male - female.
That way you can hook everything up except for the patch, use it with your meter, then screw on the 4th cable from the house/switch without having to take off the LNB again.

Well, that's it then. I DID NOT get any paper work at all. Funny how that happens. Like I said before, it was so tight, that I thought it belong on there. Thanks everyone for your help. :D
