SWM8 splitter question

from looking at the diagrams, it seems that you can only split the signal from the powered port(SWM1), is that correct?

No, you can split the feeds from either of the SWM-1 or SWM-2 ports. However, the Power Inserter must be connected to the feed to SWM-1 only.

you can split either FTM1 or 2 on a SWM8.. SWMline dish only has one connection..
