Hey guys please try to figure this one out. Yesterday I had installed the new SWM one cable sat system . I have 2 HD-DVR,s and one HD receiver. The power inserter is on the leg with the HD receiver as specified by senior tech support at Directv.
When the system was powered up everything worked just fine. Then last night I went to channel 360 and then back to channel 11 and immediately it said searching for sat signal. Called my installer and he had me disconnect the power inserter and plug it back in...everything seemed fine. Today I was looking at what channels I have subscribed to and went from channel 50 to talk a look at VOD at channel 1000
came back to 50 and immediately ...searching for sat signal...Tried to reset the power insterter but to no avail...tried resetting the irds no avail....What is your best advise???? Is the SWM Pi21 bad? or should I look for something else.
This system is very new and maybe its still in the debugging stage...Thanks Much

How far is the PI from the SWM? Where is the splitter located, what brand? How many receivers? Open ports on the splitter?

you ever rerun dish setup?
I suggest asking in the install forum, might get more responses.

All receiver are out...One open port on splitter...the PI is app. 50' from the splitter where the cable from the dish enters the house..thats where the splitter connection is

The reason I went here is that the one cable system is cutting technology ...very new and very buggy....Neur

I would recheck all connections.. especially from swm>to PI..

Are there any ports on the splitter that are not in use? If so are they terminated? If not they need to be.

The SWMLine dish is relatively new, but the principle is the same.
