What happened to Life tonight?

Didn't record and when I check History, it's listed. When I view it from history, however, the title changes to Lipstick Jungle and the description says "this program was not recorded because the program was no longer available"

Was it supposed to be on tonight?

I don't have a timer set, as this is one I'm usually able to catch live... so I knew it wasn't on tonight. That would be weird if I'd had a timer set though.

I knew it was moving to Wednesday and thought since they had doubled-up on episodes the first of this season maybe this might be a skip week.

I hadn't noticed that Life wasn't mentioned in the thread title about L&O returning. NBC is trying to grab at least 2nd in the ratings on Wednesday by moving Life into the 9:00 pm slot, with Law & Order returning at 10:00 pm. and Knight Rider remaining at 8:00 pm. They've been watching the ratings on Life, particularly Live+7. On Friday October 10, folks recorded Life gave it a 27.3% boost in total ratings, but more importantly a 36% boost in the all important 18-49 demographic. While those ratings are not used for advertising, it's obvious that many 18-49 folks not home on Friday night went to alot of trouble to make sure they recorded Life. While Numb3rs got a 20% boost in total viewers, it wasn't among the top gainers in that all important demo.

I'm hoping the move will be good for Life's longevity.

But seems like it once was in the Guide but then moved.

The schedule juggling has begun.. there will be lots pf program movement over the next few weeks.. also look for some of the bigger shows to fill in for shows that are on the "cusp" and not doing so well.

I have yet to see any of the life episodes this season but I have 6 recorded. The last one was 10/24/08.
