I'm still working on it, but I have some basic state maps showing TV markets on the EKB now. I'll eventually get around to adding the market names. But if anyone wants to see them, click on the EKB icon on the top of this page or go to http://ekb.dbstalk.com
Corrections, comments, etc are welcome.

Great work Tony. :)
A suggestion besides adding the market names is putting soomething showing a market if it is carried by Dish or DirecTV.

Some small counties did change DMAs.
Example: Guernsey County is with Columbus DMA now, not Wheeling DMA. Wheeling DMA dropped by 10 notches (from DMA 140 to 150) because of this. Most of the counties that moved are really small counties. Minor - its probably Nielsen's way making sure station owners, the NAB, satellite companies, etc. buys the Nielsen research on a continuing basis to keep updated on this research). However it may be insignificant if the DBS companies are using an old Nielsen listing or combination of several.

Well, let me be the first to say thanks and point out a minor issue.... :)
On the Texas map you have combined the Austin and Temple-Waco markets. And there is a spelling error on the word "purple" on the Brownsville-McAllen market.
But it really does look like a lot of wonderful work! Thanks!

mnassour,
Thanks for pointing out this glaring oversight! I've fixed it.
Brett, I changed the Ohio map. If anyone else seen any obvious errors, please let me know.
Thanks for the support folks.

Tony....about a year ago, someone posted a list of potential areas, or cities, that would be added for locals. My area, Tri-Cities,Wa., was on that list.
I notice on your map of Wa. it showed Yakima,Wa.(Yakima gets most of their TV from stations in the Tri-Cities area, namely Pasco in Benton County, next to Yakima.
Any idea how far down the list we now are? Thanks, Jim

What a project! Thank you for thinking to collect the information for this while it was available.
I noticed that for several states the market name box background is white instead of matching the map color. Montana is a bit confusing (at least for me after first looking at other states) with the market names wrapping around the map instead of just on one side.

Slojim, I wouldn't hold my breath for Yakima. :) I have no idea when. Sorry.
Boba,
I'm still working on it. It'll take me a little while to update that. The reason is when I was making the pages I wasn't sure that the colored backgrounds looked good on other browsers. I'll get to it over the next week or so.
