I live near Modesto Ca. I have the NBA league pass. I get the Sac Kings games on Comcast Sports California, or No California or whatever it is called now.
So am I destined to watch Kings games all season in Standard Def since they black out my NBA League pass games which are in HD since they want me watching the local broadcast? I am assuming that the HD version of the comcast game is simply not being shown on Direct TV?
If I am getting the SD version all season, will anything be done in the future to fix this situation?
This sucks watching the games in SD when an HD version is on NBA league pass, but os blacked out.

Hmm,,, down here, in FL the regional sports networks for our area have both a SD and a HD channel assignment. I get the local sports channels, even though I don't subscribe to the sports package.
I would select ALL channels on your guide and look for your local regional sports network channel in the 600 range. I suspect that you'll find a "-1" channel that corresponds to the local SD channel that you're getting. Then all you need do is to view that "-1" channel.
At least that's the way it works for the Sunshine Network and Fox Sports Florida down here.

Agreed. Check your favorites list, and see if your RSN has a -1 channel.
Now that Oklahoma City has the Thunder, Fox Sports broke us away from Fox Sports Southwest and created Fox Sports Oklahoma. For DirecTV it is a game only RSN, but it has both an SD (679) and HD (679-1) channel.
Also, check here to see if the RSN is providing an HD feed:

hoops, I commiserate with you, for whatever reason we did not get the HD feed today. There is a 698-1 but no game is shown. (The Kings were blown out anyways.)
I dont think D* shows any HD on 698-1 I've never seen any. There's been threads about this before stating that there was some kind of problem between Comcast & D* with the HD channel.
