I don't know how decent (at the frequencies used for Directv I wouldn't recommend any right-angle connector), but the Thomas & Betts 90SNS1P6U is probably as good as they get.

I'll check them, thanks. I have 2 runs where I need to turn 90 deg right out of the wall.

tough to find good ones.. the ratshack ones break if you touch them.. I have 2 that came with my RF modulators that worked well on my HR21/am21..

The cable through hole (or keystone jack opening) is molded into a recessed panel that gets the cable closer to the wall without a severe bend.

My personal favorite is this gizmo because it avoids the insertion loss of a coupler:

Great suggestions! I love these forums.
And don't forget, if you're doing any wired ethernet, have a look at EZ RJ45 connectors.

Harsh? What's that angled thingy with the label MonoPrice. I'm not clear what it does..do you have a link?

I've been thinking about them, limited space for the recess might be an issue. I was going to get some dimensions.
so you've had good luck with them?

I don't use the EZ ones actually, have the punch tools and a bunch of paradyne items.

A simple passthru, the cable drops right out through the hole. Here is a pic;

No problems at all, and this connector will work with RG6 and RG6 Quad Shield cable.

That is the Sonora HRPID1422 polarity locker / power inserter. Why?
Just playing safe. I was concerned about loss of signal with use of two swm's, length of cables that i am using and what you see is connected to the distribution panel with many jumper cables. I installed this setup about six months ago and did not have any problems yet.
