I have had 2 years of goodness with this machine, then ever since the bad guide data incidents, it has been spotty at best. I turned it on tonight, and it was locked up, wouldn't turn on.

SO I did a reset, as it came back up it said that the disc was full and it couldn't keep recording, and would I like to delete oldest recordings or stop recording the current show. I looked at what it listed as old recordings ( a few very old shows I didn't care about) and hit delete oldest recordings.

I then went to my Playlist...everything is gone. I had so much to watch...

I am pretty much at the end of my rope after the last few weeks of this. I'm so mad right now I could smash the damn thing.

Has anyone else had this isssue?

Has anyone else had this isssue? To answer your question, "no", but I certainly feel your pain. Unfortunately, it looks like you've uncovered a bug that was so far unknown, since "disk full" may be a such a rare occurrence.

If you haven't already, I strongly suggest you report this in the appropriate "issues" thread for whatever release of software your on. If you're running the current national release, you can find that thread here (http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=143187).
