D* interactive weather

I read about this feature on another forum website and am still unclear how to get it working. My SD receiver is the D12 and when I tune to channel 362 and push the red button, nothing happens. Someone on the other forum said to turn on SD duplicates...my receiver doesnt have that option. Any help on this? I tried it on my HD receiver and it did not work either.

Turn to 362 and wait.....sometimes it takes a minute the first time to load.

On your HD receiver, make sure that you are turning to the SD version of 362. Also, give it a little bit to load. I remember the first day it was available, it took until the second time that LOT8's came around before it worked.

You can also get the the interactive weather at anytime by pressing the "ACTIVE" button on your remote.

I'm not real familiar with the SD receivers, but if the remote has an "Active" button, then it should work.

I tried this on my D12-300 just now. You have to give it a minute before it works. There will be a message on the bottom left of the screen showing that you can press the red button.

There is no need for a phone line. It's all done through the satellites. I don't have a phone line on mine.

There is no "Hide SD duplicates" on a D12. That's on HD boxes.

The D12 is the only Dxx box that can do this. The R22 SD DVR can and maybe the R16 (but I don't think so).

Web site says D10 or newer and I know it works on my R15s.

Yes the D10 was the first Directv Branded Interactive Box.

I can verify that Weather Interactive works on my D12 with no phone line plugged in. Its actually really neat, nice seeing my local weather showing instead of the rest of the country :>

Can anyone confirm that this works on a D10-300? I read above that one of the D10s works, but my 300 doesn't seem to offer any weather interactives.
