Attached is the weekly NFL Schedule customized for DIRECTV's SundayTicket and Superfan subscribers. Red highlight games are 1080i, Blue highlight games are 720p broadcasts.

Time Zone Schedules
Attachments are provided for each Time Zone; please note the attachment names to download the correct PDF for your time zone.

Customize your Schedule
The PDF schedules are formatted with Adobe's ‘typewriter tool’ enabled, so you can edit in the channel numbers for the games provided by your local affiliates. Editing can be done with Adobe Acrobat or any version of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

SundayTicket and Superfan Broadcasts
The rightmost column, the SundayTicket Section, provides the SundayTicket SD and Superfan HD assignments [Channels 704 through 718]. Channel numbers are the same for both the SD and HD broadcasts, but the HD channel has a “-1” (dash one) suffix. On your remote, the dash key is to the left of the 0 (zero) key.

National Game Broadcasts
You will need to pencil in, or edit in, your LIL (Local-Into-Local) CBS, FOX and NBC channel numbers for your local stations. In most cases (the rules are complex), DIRECTV is required to blackout a SundayTicket and/or Superfan game that duplicates programming offered by your local CBS or FOX affiliate.

Regional Game Broadcasts
Using TV Distribution Maps, you will know in advance which regional games your local CBS and FOX affiliates will be carrying and you can pencil in, or edit in, those updates on the schedule. This Link (http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/) takes you to the website providing NFL TV Game Distribution Maps for both CBS and FOX. When your local affiliate broadcasts a game, DIRECTV is obligated to black it out on SundayTicket and Superfan (if your LIL offers HD) in your DMA. The DMA Maps are available late in the week preceding the games.

Local Game Blackouts
Remember, NFL blackout rules apply: if a home game isn’t sold out, your local station and DIRECTV are both required to black out that live game in your home DMA.

This is great stuff....awesome work bro. I cant image games not being shown because they dont sell out, thats nuts!! I guess its good to live in NJ and be a NY Giants Fan :) Eagles in Philly are never ever ever blacked out either.

The past couple of weeks I've just started to notice that it's Fox that has all the 720P games (well, there's also ESPN). Is this Fox or DTV downconverting what Fox gives them? Does DTV have the bandwidth to do all the games in 1080I?

Fox does all their HD in 720p, just like Espn/ABC. Only CBS, NBC & NFLN do 1080i.

Detroit was blacked out for the 1st time in 50 games during their last home game against the Washington Redskins.

The cool thing is, when they show game flashes and have the game on the Red Zone Channel it isn't blacked out, so I can still be the small % of people that sees them. Even though they suck.

Thanks again for this! This is awesome! :)

dumb question -- i see the crawl on the game mix channel that says the Jax/Det game will not be available -- is that just on the game mix, or is that completely?

It appears to be just in the Game Mix which is really irritating. It's on channel 705 and you can see it as long as you live outside the Detroit blackout area. They need to figure out a way they can blackout that channel in their blackout area and not penalize everyone else who would like to see it in the Game Mix.

Sorry if this is OT for this thread, but I don't like starting new threads all the time.

But anyone know why the HD game channel are assigned to the -1 channels instead of the regular channel? Example, ESPN HD and SD are both on 206, and when you type in 206 it defaults to the HD channel if you have an HD receiver. Why can't they do that for the NFLST HD games? Is it because the channels are only part time?

Thanks

cant do it that way because some people have the "do not show HD duplicates" checked in their setup menu....if they dont subscribe to superfan for HD & say the game was on channel 708/708-1 then not only wouldnt they get the HD version on 708-1 because they dont have superfan but they also wouldnt get the SD game on 708 either because again "do not show HD duplicates" is checked & would knock out 708.

espn doesnt have that problem because u dont have to pay extra to get the HD version of it.

Here's the key answer, provided by satelliteracer back on August 14, 08:

"The challenge is that some customers with Sunday Ticket and HD who don't purchase SuperFan may have opted in their Guide to turn off duplicate SD channels (available in some HD boxes).

Well, that presents a challenge because in their guide they wouldn't see the SD Sunday Ticket channels at all as the guide would remove them with that setting employed. As a result, dash -1's are going to be used unless something else presents itself as an alternative."
