How do you change the default power on channel?

Forgive me if this is a dumb question but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere and have searched the forums with no luck...

I have an HR-22. Ever since I hooked it up, when I turn off the HR-22 and then turn it back on again later, it remains on the channel it was tuned into when I turned the unit off.

Now all of a sudden, whenever I power off and then back on, it starts on channel 1100. I can't find any setting for this and it's driving me nuts.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Have you done a menu Reset or RBR ( Red button reset)? Sometimes it needs to be reset to clear out the "bugs"

I haven't had this happen to me, at least not that I noticed. I suspect the receiver tuned to that channel for a movie D* sent to your Movies Now folder. I don't think you can stop that from occurring. It usually happens overnight.
