I have a hr20-700 and while moving my equipment around the hdmi cable must have twisted resulting in the connector on the back of the hr20 to break. I could call D and have it replaced, however I like the fact that it does ota with out any additional parts. Does anyone have any suggestions on how or where I can fix this? Does the hdmi board just plug in the the hr-20 or is it part of the unit. Again I really hate to have D replace it it has worked flawlessly since sept 06 when it was first installed.

Thanks

Looks like from Earls original photos the HDMI is directly on the mainboard - no i/o slot

Looks like you'll need to replace your HR20. The HR2x+AM21 combinations work well, and most folks feel that the AM21 tuners are a bit better.
