In light of last nights events during that game I applaud KC.

i think the real reason is the Royals think they've already one enough games, in a year, to qualify for some sort of award.:D

When was the last time you said the Royals had 10 times the wins as the Tigers?

U.S. Cellular should ask for their money back.

The All-Star game should be fun :).

Although it would be hard to top last year's fiasco.

And yet baseball survives...

As a native Chicagoan, this just saddens me. On a Chicago sports/talk radio station today, the 2 hosts had the 2 brothers who ran onto the field on the air.

They both sounded like white trash, nothing-between-the-ears scum that they are, no big surprise.

Neither really saw that what they did was wrong. One claimed it was always "a dream" to run onto the field, and to "pump up the crowd."

What an @$$ clown.

The hosts then vowed to BAN certain Chicago suburbs and their white trash/trailer park residents from attending the games. LOL!

I don't understand what Sox "fans" problems are. I lived in Chicago for 22+ years, and while there were shenanigans from time to time, nothing like this ever happened regularly.

It is true, however, that the more blue-collar-type fan does attend Sox games, while the rich, "to-be-seen" crowd tends to head to Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs.

I grew up a Cubs fan, my Dad born/raised on the North Side (until I stopped watching baseball, in '94), and actually went to games 4-5 times per year, and it's true that the Sox attracted the working-class man.

This is just plain stupid.

Is it any surprise that this is the same place that had the infamous Disco Night riot?

I feel sad that the real fans are probably getting painted with a very broad brush.
