Is the SWM8 weather-proof?

Quick question: is there any problem with putting a SWM8 up on the roof next to the dish? That's where all my lines split up to different areas of the house, so I just want to be sure that it's ok to have it outside and exposed to the weather.

best to keep it out of direct rain, but I had one on the dish mount for a year without trouble..

Thanks. Good to know that it was up there for a year without a problem. Unfortunately unless I seriously re-wired things, it's going to need to stay outside in my situation.

The sealed case and coax contact covers are designed to protect it from adverse weather.

You should be fine.
