So I am curious... For everyone who has at least one HD DVR (even if its a old Tivo HR10-250), what are your other receivers? Are they also DVR's? Are they HD?

Two HR20-700's, R15-500, SD Tivo. We only allow DVR's in our home:)
One HR21-700 and just added a HR22-100.
Once you go DVR, it is really hard to use normal receivers, and the price difference was not that much to go to another HD DVR over an SD DVR considering the monthly fee is the same.

One HR20-700.
Also have two H20s. One is used in the guest house -- for when guests stay over. Another is used primarily for music throughout the house and "in a pinch" used to watch live programming (live sports) should the DVR be in use.

See my sig, they are the only ones active on my account.
I also have two SD DVRs (T60 & DSR6000) which are inactive.
I also have the Hughes HTL-HD non-DVR receiver, also inactive except for OTA.
And, they is also the Sony A2 and B2 standalone receivers, obviously inactive.

I only indicated active receivers in the poll. I have one HR20-100, two HR21-700s and a D10-300 active, but I also have three SD-HBHs and a DSR704 that are inactive on my account. I had a HR10-250, but I let the installer take it when I got my second HR21.

I'd say, people should only mention ACTIVE units.. I would imagine most often deactivated units are ones that were replaced by one that is now active...

Ok, now I'm going to have to start the same poll in the dish forums and see if they match up...
After more than doubling the voters since I last figured the trends, they are still about the same...

How can we gather any meaningful stats from this? Since the poll is "check all that apply"... some people checked one, while others checked more than one.
So if you add up all of the votes for additional DVRs, for example, you get 266 right now, even though only 258 people voted, since some people have both HD and SD DVRs.
Adding up all of the % gives you 171.66%.
This isn't useful data for stats. You can't have "check all that apply" and get meaningful stats, at least not without a list of each vote in detail.
See Sig, All DVR's.
Ditto, only all HD DVRs.

Ah, actually, it is... It tells us what percentages of people that have 1 HD DVR have as additional HD DVRS, or SD DVRs or NON HD and SD equipment as well....
The percentages for each line tell you how many people that voted as a % have that setup... You do not add all the percentages together, there is no point, because as you said, some people will have both... There is an assumption that people will only vote once for each catagory.. i.e. no one would vote for having one additional HD DVR and 2 additional HD DVRs...
Here are a couple things that we can learn...
over 65% of people have at least one additional HD DVR
Over 36% have at least one additional HD non dvr
Over 36% have at least one additional SD DVR
Only 21% have an additional sd non dvr
and only 18% of people have an HD DVR as their only box in the house....
It looks like more and more people are moving to HD DVRS over other equipment, as time passes...
I wonder if this poll will have the same results in say, 9 months to a year... Or will certain catagories go up, and others go down... :D

(1) Hughes HAH-SA plain SD receiver - I use this for listening to music, because the titles constantly scrowl up the screen, so that it doesn't burn in, but allows you to see them at any time, w/out having to push a display button. I also sometimes use it's guide if I just want to do some current channel guide scrowling - it's still my favorite EPG.
