721 low batteries ??

Seems like when the batteries on my 721 start to go the only sign that they are going is that it will not control the TV volume (or power), sometimes waiting a few seconds and then it works ok for a couple volume clicks then stops. All the 721 stuff works fine, very strange. This is how my other batteries have gone as well.
Doesn't the 721 have a low battery warning ??

It should, as DP301 software does. It has done that on my DP301 remote too. It would seem like it would run down when you start using it, but it goes away. :confused:

Yes it does have a low battery warning. I got it a couple of weeks ago - it shows up on the title bars. I've never seen anything with a remote do that before, so I thought it was pretty neat.

That was a feature added in L1.09. (And it seems to work well too!)

I have also noticed that the TV and VCR functionality quits working and the light flickers real quick several times each time you try to press a button using that functionality.
