How to switch markets?

I am in Chritiansburg, VA and cannot get WSET ABC HD over antenna and Dish does not have locals in HD. Could I switch to the Washington DC area to get local HD? How does one go about that?

Move is the only way.

The only legal way to do this is too physically move to the market you want channels from.

You can thank the FCC for that. Write/call your congressman and express your views. I strongly believe that I should be able to choose what channels I watch when I want as long as I am paying for them and it is physically possible to get them. Unless the law is changed you have no choice unless you can get a waiver for a national feed but that is unlikely.
