I am enjoying the directv2pc software so far, but would like to configure it for 30SKIP like I have with my DVR. I couldn't find any configuration setting for that, so I'm wondering if there's a back door like on the DVR...

I wish. The best thing to use would be the progress bar. You can click on it and it will jump to wherever you are on the timeline. Takes a little finesse, but that's something that even the DVR won't do:)

"Ctrl K" gives either 30 sec skip or slip.

Slip yes, skip no. At least not on mine. Is it supposed to be based on the DVR setting?

Seems that Ctrl-K is just a keyboard way to do a "slip" (although the first look pdf calls it skip). I'm looking for a way to configure directv2pc to operate like the DVR where you can control whether it does a "slip" or "skip" when you select to advance 30 seconds.
