Maybe Two New 721 "BUGS"...I don' know???

Tonight we were watching a recorded movie.
Half way though the 721 deceided it was a time to reboot itself.
I didn't promp anything....it just rebooted itself on its on.
Last night I recorded CSI. During the recording I had rain fade.
When I checked the recording I didn't have one program with the rain fade in the middle of it but I had two seperate recordings.
The first ended when the rain fade cut in and the second started when the rain fade ended. An entire show (minus the rain fade) but in two recordings.
I never experienced either of these 'bugs' with my Dishplayer.
I searched the archives and haven't seen this before.
Has anyone else experienced either of these 'bugs' before?????

Hi Jim,
CSI did the same thing to us. It has happened in the past also.
Never experienced the "on it's own" reboot.

The reboot problem is something with L1.09 (Knock on wood I have NOT had it reboot on L1.10) :)

Now the breaking shows apart, I believe this is more a feature then a bug.

I have had my power go out here in the middle of recording, when the power came back on the 721 noticed it should be recording and continued recording.

When it was done I had 2 recordiing 1 up until the power went off and the other when the power came back on.

In regards to your rain fade the 721 was smart enough to know you didnt want garbage recorded (Big blocks or pixals and screens saying No SIgnal) so it stopped reocrding and started again when the signal was usuable.
