No.

Yes there is, but not in the way you implied. You can just archive them to a PC by using the composite outputs. Oh yeah, they'll be in SD.

If your PC has a video input, it could work.

It might be easier to send it to a recordable DVD unit.

Or you could do it by component and get 720p/1080i.

I'd like how sidetrack taking out of idea - in a bar: "I'd like a glass of champaign" - "we don't have it - take a pint of beer". :D

I'd like how sidetrack taking out of idea - in a bar: "I'd like a glass of champaign" - "we don't have it - take a pint of beer". :DBecause there isn't a way to accomplish what the OP is looking for I was trying to suggest a method to archive the OP's stuff.

Doug already stated that archiving to NAS was a "no".

Just trying to help.

I'd like to help ppl to, just don't like sort of salesman pitch"if not this TV, then buy a nice BR palyer" - I would ask OP if he thinking about different approach then load him with other solutions.
By default he didn't ask for brainstorm. ;)

The OP asked a question: "Is there a way to save HR2x recordings to an NAS device ?"
MicroBeta and others (including myself) answered it, by telling the OP how he might do it.
There was no "salesman pitch". We just answered the guy's question.

OK. Perhaps I just misread all those advises to use DVD or PC capturing analog stream.

Ok, if we're all doing it wrong then what do you suggest?

We're done with it.

Lets OP to speak for himself.
