Does anyone know if a leased receiver can be reactivated after having it turned off? I'm asking because I have a H21-200 I deactivated a few weeks ago but still have (directv doesnt seem to want to send a recovery kit after 3 attempts at getting one) and I just purchased a new hd television for my bedroom and would like to use it again!

There really shouldn't be any reason why they won't turn it back on, but you'll have to call to find out/do so.

You should be able to have it reactivated.
Assuming you do reactivate it (and I agree, you should have no problem doing so), do keep your eyes open for a recovery box. If one shows up, call and make sure DirecTV knows the receiver is back in service.

Roadrunner,
Let them discover that!

I would've thought you would've gotten the x722 message from it being deactivated that long.
If you disconnected it before you called and de-activated it, then it will soon enough go dead on you. You do still need to re-activate it.

Sometimes the gate is left open long enough that the prisoners get a sense of what it is like on the outside.

Just make sure you call DIRECTV and have them cancel the recovery kits.
If they do not cancel those there is a high probability that you will get charged a non-return fee.
