Dishlover2,
Your posts are STILL almost impossible to understand but I think that you are asking if the channels you listed will be available soon in HD (the Harrisburg stations are already uplinked and available in SD from the 77 degree satellite on channels 9016 - 9022).
You should be aware that right now DISH normally only carries the "big four" (ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX) in HD so you will not get those other stations via satellite in HD (if they even transmit HD programs, which, except for the CBS affiliate and CW, they likely don't). Your CBS station is not carried in HD now because WHP's parent company does not an agreement with DISH for carriage of their HD signal. Substations, like 21.2 are only available with an OTA antenna on your ViP receiver.
As to when your CBS station will be available in HD it depends on when their parent company, Newport Television Partners LLC, reaches an agreement with DISH. Since no one here has any insight to those negotiations we have no idea of when that may happen.

To clarify im aware of the hd locals are uplinked just pointing out the sd ones that got moved from 72.7 to 77 so now all locals are now on 77 as opposed to those remaining sd locals that were on 72.7 and also bill the uplink list does show it ready for hd switching like you said all a matter of when the remaining are given the green light but it was quick in terms of those sd local moving from 72.7 to 77 I hope that clears that up

I sure wish you would use periods when you wish to end a sentence (you have no idea of how hard it is for the rest of us to understand you). Your CBS station is currently uplinked to 77 in SD. DISH can not uplink it in HD until they get an agreement with Newport LLC. Your market is in the same boat as a lot of the new markets on the 77 degree satellite. MANY of them do not have all of "big 4" available in HD but they do have all their local stations available from the 77 degree satellite.

In other words the standard definition locals were moved to the same location as the hd locals Are now rather than leave them at the former location they were at before the green light is given as in the approval and agreements are reached and actually im still trying to find out

Dishlover2,
I still don't understand exactly what you are asking but I'll try to reply to what I think that you are asking.
The SD locals were moved from 72.7 to 77 likely because that was DISH's plans in the first place and they could not do that originally because 77 was not in service (72.7 was in service months before 77). It is likely that 72.7 was just a "holding place" for locals until 77 was ready.
Another good reason for DISH to put the SD and HD locals on the same satellite (77) is that not everyone is getting a 1000.4 dish for 61.5, 72,7 and 77. In my area (and many others) many HD subscribers already have a 1000.2 dish for 129, 119, 110 and all that they need is a dish for 77 to pick up their HD locals. For a lot of those customers DISH is just adding a wing dish for the 77 degree satellite.
The approval process (to carry the HD locals) is a separate issue. No matter which satellite the locals are on DISH still has to have approval to carry them.
Does that answer your question?
And another thing. Which was probably a factor. IF you need 110,119 and 129 still hooked up for the MPEG-2 Receivers. And 77 for the MPEG-4 Receivers (which I only have 1 so far). You can only receive 4 orbital locations so far.Or at least all of my receivers do Unless there is new technology on the horizion to read lets say 6. Therefore you cannot read or receive 72,77,110,119,129 on all receivers that I know of today.
In another related Issue when the Installer came to hook up my Wing Dish for 77 Eastern Arc he first found 72 and locked onto it thinking it was 77 and done the switch check and found out there that it was 72 instead of 77. I told him to try Azmith 177, Elevation,45 and Skew 90 {Because Bill said so}( He probably did not try it )After about 30 minutes tampering with adjusting up,down, left and right trying to find it and talking to his boss over his cell phone. They did it manually and finally found it. He told me it was 175,46, and 90. I told him did you try what I said before? He did not say anything. IF he tried he would probably picked up on something. Then I got a thinkin' Since 77 was only activated 3 days before. His fancy box probably was not updated since then. And that was the reason it was reading 77 as 72. Because his box picked up 61.5,72 ( skipped 77 reading it as 72) then jumped to the 80's Satellite and 90's satellite. He said that was the toughest wing orbital position that he ever locked onto. He found them on the 1000.4 satellite (probably because he aimed at 72 and tweeked it from there). For 61.5 and 77 as well. Well at least I hope his box took an UPDATE to read or identify the 77 Satellite now. Listen at Bill he knows what he is talking about. Eventhough I never seen Bill before.....I consider him a Friend via the internet.

Update I Contacted a tech dept person as they explained to me
119 core programming is mirrored on 72
110 core./sd locals are mirrored at 77 simultaneously w new hd locals
61.5 remain unchanged hd core whatever isnt simulcast in hd on 110 or 119
Wouldn' it be easier unless line of sight issue comes into play to just get everyone swapped out from those markets with the 1000.2 to just upgrade those to the 1000.4 dish but then again it may boil down to all customers requiring a 4 slot dish eventually
In essence the tech support person told me any time now for the remaing locals converting to hd for my area they didnt recieve updates either It could be already a done deal with those also however I Think speculatively when the mpeg 4 transistion is complete that could be dec 1st based on the thread regarding mpeg4 uplinks and what was mentioned on nov 10ths tech forum
in essence the question was asked and answered but ill tackle another question creating a new topic

It would be if everyone had MPEG4 receivers. However, many people have both MPEG2 SD receivers and HD ViP receivers. ViP receivers can handle both MPEG2 and MPEG4 compression schemes. For those that have both, a wing dish (pointing at 77) is the only solution (unless DISH replaces all the MPEG2 receivers with MPEG4 receivers). The older MPEG2 receivers continue to get all their channels from the other dish while the MPEG4 receivers get the HD channels from 77 (or where ever, some HD locals are on 61.5)
