I have a 13 month old HR20 HD DVR. It has been having video dropouts (pixelation problem) on some recordings for a few months now. Also when I use the 30 sec slip feature, sometimes as the playback resumes, it makes a loud static type audio noise through the speakers for a second or so.
And for the past month or so, I notice that it will lose the signal for tuner 1. Although the 2nd tuner (non DVR) downstairs works fine. This just happened again tonight for CBS and I thought it might be due to some rain outside, but again, the tuner downstairs was getting the signal. When I reset the DVR, then both tuners receive a signal and the unit works fine.
All video/audio/antenna connections inside the house are tight and none of the tv/dvr components have been moved.
Any clue what might be the problem?
