SBC's latest twist
Ken Katz, an Oakland antiques dealer, relies in large part on EBay to hawk his wares. Like numerous other merchants, he uses the San Jose online service as a virtual storefront to list and sell merchandise.
But since becoming a customer of the new-and-improved SBC Yahoo high-speed Internet service, Katz has discovered that he's no longer able to link material from his free SBC Yahoo home page to EBay -- unless he pays an additional fee.
No extra fee is required, though, if Katz links to Yahoo's own auction service.
