Anybody try one of these units? I live in a home with no "bars" except at the kitchen window or out on the driveway. They aren't cheap so I have hesitated to buy these without knowing if someone has had a good experience with them

The bottom line is that they work. They work well. It is a repeater system as well as a booster. I am using one right now with my cell card. With out it I have no connection. It also makes my iPhone work in my home. I know this sound like BS since it is a product line that we sell, but we sell them because the owner of our company needed a solution and it worked. He was so happy, we sell them now.

Before we got a new tower in our area I was using a Cyfre dual Band CA-819 Amplifier. They work GREAT. If you are interested I have it sitting tight in front of me.

Ironically, it was your email that triggered my post. I am an AT&T wireless client and my new home has no bars... I am unable to use either my cell phone or my air card in the house, so i was looking at them trying to decide if it would be worth the money and if it would actually work.. (remember cell phone antenna boosters that went in the battery compartment?)
Thank you for the input.

I thought about getting a repeater system until I found out the cost. We have one at work, with all the machinery it's like being around a jammer. What's nice is it's specifically for the ~850MHz frequency, so only company phones work in the building (Nextel) all other phone are pretty much useless. It works excellent. At home I get maybe one bar, don't care who the provider, my house is a dead zone for the most part. Don't use the phone enough to make getting a repeater worth while otherwise I'd think about saving up for one.
