Gents,
I have been playing around with Cyberlink's PowerDVD8 ultra and Coral's WinDVD9 Plus to see which one is best for my HTPC for bluray playback. Both have numerous problems with HDCP compiance and sound playback through SPDIF output. These problems are less numerous when installed on WinXP Pro. I can get both programs working after tweaking some of the program settings when installed on WinXP Pro and WinVista Home Premium but not enough to be satisfied with either product. When patched are introduced and installed, they seem to undo all the tweaking I have done. Anyways, I would like to get some feedback on ArcSoft's TotalMedia Theatre software for those of you using it for bluray playback. Please send me a message about your experience with it. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
